The Northwest Civic Association advocates your interests to Columbus City Council during the re-zoning application process. We advocate for you during the code enforcement complaint process. And we are a citizen’s advocacy group to help facilitate the delivery of City services.

The Northwest Civic Association is a volunteer organization, and we need your participation. The more members we have, the louder is our voice!

Individual membership is $20 per year beginning in 2024; a privilege of individual membership is voting for NWCA Trustees which occurs at the Annual Meeting in June and for updates to our organizing documents. Members also receive the report that the Zoning Committee prepares for trustees. Two members of a household can share a membership, but have only one vote.

Associate memberships are available for organizations and businesses located in the NWCA service area and individuals outside our area. Associate memberships are $40 per year. Associate members do not have a vote.

Please note, your submission of this Membership Application along with the payment of annual membership dues constitutes an agreement that you will abide by the Northwest Civic Association’s governing documents including, but not limited to, the Articles of Incorporation and Code of Regulations. You agree by submitting this application that you will act reasonably and with decency at any meetings you attend.

Types of Membership

 

$20 per year for General Members

  • If you live within our service area, we invite you to join individually as General Members. General Members vote to elect our Board of Trustees and on important issues at our Annual Meeting, as defined in our Code Of Regulations. More than one household member (spouses, parent and child) can be listed on the same membership, but can only vote once per general membership.

$40 per year for Associate Members

  • If you live outside our service area, or if you are a business or other organization operating in our service area, we invite you to join as an Associate Member and support the work of NWCA. Associate members cannot vote.
