Governing Documents

After operating informally from 1965 to 1969, the Northwest Civic Association incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in 1969, as declared in its Articles of Incorporation. The Northwest Civic Association trustees rely on this and our Code of Regulations to maintain consistency in their decision-making.

Our principal governing document is our Code of Regulations (last amended December 2022), which details the association’s procedures and obligations. Our next task is to create/update our By-Laws to provide additional specifics for Board operations.
