Committees do the work of the association. Trustees chair committees, and both members and trustees may serve on committees.

Code Enforcement
Chaired by John Guroy, the Code Enforcement Committee supports the enforcement of Columbus Housing, Health, Sanitation, Safety, Refuse Collection, Zoning, Graphics, and Nuisance Abatement codes to protect property values. For more information see the Columbus City Code.

Insurance & Legal Papers
The Insurance & Legal Papers committee oversees the association’s 503(c)(4) status and trustee liability protection as well as maintains the association’s governing documents.

Chaired by Marilyn Goodman, the OSU Airport Committee supports the community’s interests in the operation and land use of the Ohio State University’s Don Scott Field and surrounding property. Learn more about the airport HERE.

Chaired by Roy Wentzel, the Parks, Recreation & Bikeways Committee supports community interests for better parks and recreation facilities, the City’s bike trail program, and the Sheep Farm.

Chaired by Amanda Gibbs, the Student Interns & Schools Committee oversees the Centennial High School student intern program, and supports association interests in area schools.

Chaired by Marilyn Goodman, the Zoning, Graphics, and Development Committee provides recommendations to Columbus City Council on re-zoning and variance applications, based on appropriate land use to protect and enhance property values.
