Congrats to re-elected Trustees and new Trustee!

At the May 1 NWCA meeting incumbent Trustees Dennis Damon, Marilyn Goodman, John Guroy, Ruth Royal, and Roy Wentzel were re-elected by association members. Steve Donnell was also voted in as a new Trustee. Steve currently serves as President of the Rittenhouse Home Owners Association. Thanks to all our members who stayed late for the vote and hear the results. Refreshments were provided courtesy of the Refectory, Fresh Market, and Edible Arrangements. Please patronize these generous sponsors.

Trustees allow rescinded Romanelli & Hughes vote to stand

Romanelli & Hughes attorney Matthew Cull presented an updated proposal for the project at 5570 Riverside Dr. The plan includes replacement of trees and revisions requested by the City. Unfortunately, the Board was given these materials at the meeting and, without sufficient time to review, did not believe that a vote should be taken.

In other Zoning news, EJ Thomas, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Mid-Ohio, and representatives from the organization presented their request to change zoning at the former Graeters Ice Cream site on Bethel Rd. It was zoned strictly to sell ice cream and the Board unanimously voted to allow retail sales that will serve the fundraising efforts of Habitat for Humanity.

Next meeting is June 5. No meeting in July.

By the next meeting we expect to have updates on the Student Trustee program, National Night Out, and the Neighborhood Pride Program. We will also have election of officers, the Year in Review, and a possible continuation of the discussion of changes to the Code of Regulations. A tentative agenda will be posted as soon as it is available.
