The Northwest Civic Association trustees rely on several governing documents to maintain consistency in their decision making.

Our principal governing document is our Code of Regulations (last updated 2010-04), which details the association’s bylaws and procedures.

After operating informally from 1965 to 1969, the Northwest Civic Association incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in 1969, as declared in its Articles of Incorporation.

On a less formal basis, each trustee, upon election, receives a three-ring notebook that details precedents and procedures.
