Northwest Civic Association interacts with the community through monthly and annual meetings, and through special events.

Meetings

Our monthly meetings begin promptly at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month except July (and sometimes January) in room 213 of the Meadow Park Church, 2425 Bethel Rd. The public is welcome, except during those rare minutes when the board is in executive session.

An annual meeting is held each year in March or April so that members can elect trustees, vote on proposed changes to governing documents, receive the annual report and financial statement, and hear a speaker on a topic relevant to NWCA activities. Also at the annual meeting, the board presents the Henderson Award to a deserving volunteer, and conducts other appropriate business.

Monthly meeting agendas are posted two weeks before each meeting, and minutes are posted shortly after the subsequent meeting, pending trustee approval.

Special Events

Northwest Civic Association periodically organizes special events to inform citizens about specific topics or to raise funds. If you know of a special event that we should join or organize, please email us and let us know.
