The Department of Neighborhoods is launching the Rise Up Cbus series this year to bring Opportunity Rising to neighborhoods across Columbus. As Mayor Ginther announced in his 2022 State of the City speech, Opportunity Rising is the next phase of his Equity Agenda. It is focused on empowering Columbus residents to equitably prosper and grow through collaborative action to dismantle racism. The work done by every City Department and organizations across Columbus helps to advance the community aspirations for economic stability, safe and resilient communities and health and wellbeing that are part of Opportunity Rising. We are extremely excited to bring Rise Up Cbus to our diverse neighborhoods so we can engage residents in the services that are available and further Mayor Ginther’s commitment to the people of our city.
